Step two: Presentation (1)T:It’s a nice song.The song’s name is “Friends”. I want to make friends with you. (walk to one student) T: Hello,what’s your name? S1:My name is XXX. T: XXX,nice to meet you. S1:Nice to meet you. (ask the same questions to some students) T points to some students and asks “What’s his name?” “What’s her name?” Ss answer “His name is …/ Her name is …” T shows the ppt, the picture of “Mike and Amy”,ask the same questions “What’s his name?/ What’s her name?”,Ss answer. Then show a chant “What’s his name? What’s his name? His name’s Mike, His name’s Mike. What’s her name? \What’s her name? Her name’s Amy. Her name’s Amy.” PPT shows the picture of Xi Yangyang. Use the guessing game to lead the new lesson. PPT shows Muan Yangyang, Man Yangyang, Mei Yangyang, Zhang Peng. Use the pictures to guess out the phrases “ tall and strong” “short and friendly” “short and thin”, then introduce the people “He’s tall and strong. He’s very friendly” Use the picture “Zhang Peng”,lead to the sentence “He is a Chinese friend.” Teach the words “Chinese friend”. Then show the picture of Amy and Wu Yifan, ask “A Chinese friend” ,Ss will answer. 4.T show three questions , let them listen to the talk, and find the keys. 5. T plays the talk one sentences by sentences, let Ss to say. 6.T plays the talk again, let Ss to read and follow. Step three: Practice Ask Ss do a pair work, T look around. 2.Ask two Ss to act the talk ,one is John ,one is John’s mom. 3.Act the talk like this , Girls are John’s mom, Boys are John’s mom.
