The rules of satisfaction of community debt under the community property regime must not only balance transaction security and marital security, but also meet the ethical expectation of sharing the joys and sorrows with each other of spouse. Community obligation and separate obligation in not equate to community property liability and separate property liability, and community obligation is not joint and several obligations. The community property is liable for the community obligation, and for the separate obligation of one spouse under the certain conditions. The separate property owned by one spouse is liable for the separate obligation incurred by himself, and for the community obligation under the certain conditions. If community property has been used to satisfy a separate obligation of one spouse, or separate property has been used to satisfy a community obligation, the other spouse or the community property is entitled reimbursement.
