Teaching Procedures
Step 1 Warming-up (about 2 minutes)
Greet the students, show a picture and improve the student’s notice.
Step 2 Presentation (about 6 minutes)
T: This is the last class, Are you tired?
Ss: Yes
T: Are you hungry?
Ss: Yes
T: me too. Look at the picture on the screen, what are they?
Ss: They are apples.
T:Right. Do you want to eat them?
Ss: of course
T: The boy also wants to eat them, can he reach the apples?
Ss: No
T: Why?
Ss: Because he is short.
T: Yes, he is too short to reach the apples. So today we are going to learn some adjective words to describe one’s look.
Step 3 Presentation and Practice (about 8 minutes)
1.Show the stars’ pictures and describe their look by using thin, heavy,tall,short, be of medium height,long hair,short hair,curly hair, straight hair.
2.Let the Ss practice the sentence structure What does he look like? He is ...He has...
3.Play a game: sharp eyes
