Methods 42 patients with diabetes and angina pectoris treated in the hospital from June 2018 to August 2019 were selected as the observation group， and 47 patients with simple angina pectoris during the same period as the control group. Coronary artery CT examination was performed on the two groups of patients， compare the distribution and type of sclerotic plaque in the examination results of the two groups with the number of diseased blood vessels. Results In the test results， the two groups of patients showed no statistically significant difference in the comparison of the left anterior descending plaque stage， left coronary artery trunk， calcified plaque and non-calcified plaque segment（P0.05）. The circumflex branch， right coronary artery plaque segment， mixed plaque and total number of plaques showed a statistically significant difference from the control data and more than the control group（P0.05）. Compared with patients in the control group， the observation group had more 2 or 3 diseased blood vessels and 1 diseased blood vessel. The difference of data was statistically significant（P0.05）. Conclusion The coronary arteries of diabetic patients with angina pectoris generally show severe coronary artery involvement in CT imaging. In addition， coronary atherosclerotic plaques are mainly mixed plaques， which can be used as reference for clinical diagnosis.
