It is an important part of Chinas industry. The development of iron and steel industry is of great significance to enhance Chinas overall industrial output value. However, in recent years, the development momentum of Chinas iron and steel industry is not strong enough, and some enterprises have seen a decline in profitability or even loss. Under this background, this paper chooses typical listed companies in Chinas iron and steel industry and carries out profitability analysis. Through regression analysis and factor analysis, the paper makes an empirical analysis of these profitability. Through the analysis, it can be seen that the most influential indicators of the profitability of enterprises are RD capability and sales cash ratio. It is expected that the analysis results will be useful for the analysis and management of Chinese iron and steel enterprises profitability.
