Period 3 Section B （1a-1d） 主备人：高春梅 教学目标 语言知识目标： 1) 通过自学和抢答方式学习以下单词：meaningless, action, action movie, cartoon 2) 通过pairwork和listening 学习以下句型： ① I like to watch action movies because they’re exciting. ② John wants to watch talk shows because they’re enjoyable. ③ One of the main reasons is that Mickey was like a common man. ④ However, he was always ready to try his best. ⑤ People today expect to see more than just a little mouse fighting bad guys. 过程与方法：listening ，discussion. 情感态度价值观：了解他人对不同的电影或电视剧的看法，明白不同的人有不同的喜好，从而明确人们喜好的差异性。 教学重难点： 1) 掌握本课时出现的生词及表达方式。 2) 进行听力训练，提高综合听说能力。 教学过程 Ⅰ、1）自学1a，学生互纠，然后大声朗读。 2）New words：Present some new words on the big screen. 设计意图：通过听，说，读，看,掌握新单词。 Ⅱ、 Work on 1a again. 1. Let Ss talk about the movies or shows with the words in 1a. 2. Let some pairs share their discussion. 设计意图：在巩固新单词的基础上，练习如何评论电影。 Ⅲ、Listening ：Work on 1b（自做） 1. Tell Ss to listen and circle the description words you hear in the box in 1a. 2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and circle the words. 3. Play the recording and check the answers with the Ss. 设计意图：通过听力训练，再次巩固1a的新单词和评价的句子。 Ⅳ、Work on 1a （自做） 1. Work with your partners. Ask and answer about the movies or shows. 2. Let Ss talk about the movies or shows with the words in 1a. 3. Let some pairs ask and answer in front of the class. 设计意图：通过自做环节，加强新单词和评价的语句并进行适当的拓展。 Ⅴ、Listening （自做） Work on 1b: 1.
