Unit 2 Tintin has been popular for over eighty years.
教学设计
一、教学目标
1. 熟练掌握单词:
ugly, lead, clever, expect, invent, create, satisfy
2. 掌握句式:
Fan have bought about 200 million copies of Tinting’s stories in more than fifty languages.
Tintin appeared in China in the 1980s.
Many Chinese still collect these black and white Tintin books,
3. 能够读懂有关卡通片以及动画形象的短文。
4. 能够书写小短文,描写自己最喜欢的卡通片。
5. 通过阅读卡通故事了解不同的国家文化。
6. 能够检索卡通故事、相关图片以及音像资料。
二、教学重点及难点
重点:
1. 熟练掌握单词:

2. 掌握句式:

四、教学过程
Step I Warming-up
Watch and discuss
Ss watch the video Havoc in Heaven and talk about the following questions.
What is this cartoon about?
Who is in it?
What other cartoon heroes do you like?
设计意图:通过观看《大闹天宫》的动画视频,再通过问题的讨论与思考,引出本单元有关卡通的话题,激发学生的学习热情。
Step Ⅱ Pre-reading
New words and phrases
T presents new words and phrases one after another to let Ss read them aloud first, then has them say related meaning of each word.
设计意图:呈现单元重点单词,为学习话题知识做准备。
Activity 1.
T interacts with Ss individually.
Step Ⅲ While-reading
Activity 2
1. Ss read the passage and choose a sentence that best summarizes it.
2. Ss read the questions first and try to understand them, and then read the passage quickly to get the answer. T checks the answer individually and Ss can have a discussion. Ss learn intensively by reading one paragraph after another and answer related questions.
Q1: Find adjectives that describe Nemo and Shrek, respectively.
Q2: What have Nemo and Shrek won?
Q3: Find adjectives that describe the Monkey King.
Q4: What does the Monkey King do to heaven?
Q5: What does Tintin do?
Q6: When did Tintin appear in China?
