Module 1 Feelings and impressions Unit 3 Language in use-2 教学设计 一、教学目标 1. 复习巩固本模块的重点词汇。 2. 了解西方人在情感表达方面的特点。 3. 能够运用对话和阅读中学到的语言描述班上的同学。 4. 能阅读关于介绍西方人在情感表达方面的特点并能完成相应题目。 5. 能够关于个人爱好和感受对一个人进行简单的描写。 6. 能够学会如何和陌生人交流。 二、教学重点及难点 重点: 1. 复习巩固本模块的重点词汇。 2. 了解西方人在情感表达方面的特点。 难点: 运用所学知识描述自己的同学,包括外貌、性格、情感等。 三、教学准备 1. 多媒体设备和课件。 2. 教学光盘。 四、教学过程 Step 1 Warming-up 1. Look and say. (1) Ask Ss to work in groups, look at the pictures and try to describe them using what they have learnt in this module. (2) Select some groups to show their descriptions. 2. Match the descriptions with the pictures. (1) Ask Ss to read the descriptions individually and match them with the pictures. (2) Check the answers with the whole class. 【设计意图】小组合作观察图片,并尝试用所学的描述方法对图片中的人物进行描述。通过此活动复习巩固如何对一个人进行描述。 Step 2 Practice Activity 6 1. Ask Ss to read the text and tell if Chinese people are similar or not. 2. Ask them to tell what the differences are. 3. Have Ss read the text again and complete it with the correct words. 4. Correct answers as a class. 【设计意图】通过这些活动,复习巩固本模块的词汇。 Activity 7 1. Ask Ss to read the adjectives and use them to write about things individually. 2. Elicit two or three examples from Ss and write them on the blackboard. 3. Have Ss compare sentences in small groups, then as a class. 4. Give some possible answers. 【设计意图】通过创设任务,帮助学生运用目标词汇写句子,锻炼学生的写作能力。 Activity 8 Work in pairs. Ask Ss to describe a thing in the box to their partner. Their partner should guess what it is. 【设计意图】在培养学生合作学习意识的同时,帮助学生锻炼了口语表达及听取关键信息的能力。 Activity 9 1. Ask Ss to look at the notes and predict some of the things they might hear. 2. Tell Ss to listen to the recording and write down what they can remember. 3. Play the recording again for Ss to complete the notes. 4. Play the recording for the third time to check the answers as a class. 【设计意图】听力练习要注意指导学生使用听力技巧,以达到事半功倍的效果。 Around the world 1. Look and guess.
