Do you know about our solar system? How many planets go around the sun? Which planet is the third planet from the sun? T: Firstly, let’s learn the new words together. 2. T encourages Ss to say something about these words. e.g. earth T: The Earth is a planet and it goes around the Sun. It is a beautiful blue and white ball when it is seen from space and it has the environment with air, so people and things can grow. 设计意图：在学习完本单元重点词汇之后，让学生利用新词说句子，加深对新词理解。 Activity 1 1. T lets Ss read the words in Activity 1 and try to understand them. T: Who wants to read out the words in Activity 1 to the whole class? Hands up please. 2.
