Scientists have also discovered many other galaxies in the universe. 3. 能够读懂以太空为主题的简单文章并能识别细节,做出正误判断。 4. 通过了解中国在太空探索领域取得的伟大成就,形成民族意识和民族自豪感。 5. 能够用现在完成时谈论最近发生的事情。 6. 能根据图片完成与主题相关的写作任务。 二、教学重点及难点 重点: 识别文章的主题,能读懂以太空为主题的简单文章并识别细节信息。 难点: 1. 能区分现在完成时与一般过去时的区别并灵活运用。 2. already,just,yet在现在完成时中的应用。 三、教学准备 1. 多媒体设备和课件。 2. 教学光盘。 四、教学过程 Step Ⅰ Warming-up Watch and discuss Ss watch the video Space Travel and talk about the universe. What do you know about the universe? What planet have humans already been to? 设计意图:通过观看有关太空探索的视频,让学生初步了解太空知识。再通过问题的讨论与思考,进一步引出本单元话题,激发学生的学习兴趣。 Step Ⅱ Pre-reading Activity 1 Ss work in pairs, look at the picture in Activity 1 and talk about what they know about Chinese spaceships. 设计意图:增强学生的话题意识,弥补信息不足,扩充词汇,为阅读理解做准备。 New words 1. Ss learn the new words in unit 2 and read them together. 2. Ss read the words in pairs and ask the teacher for help if they have difficulties. 3. T and Ss check the pronunciation together. 设计意图:学习新单词,为学习对话做铺垫。 4. Ss read some new words, then match them with pictures. 5. T check the answers as a whole class. 6. Ss put the words and phrases in right order. 设计意图:通过设置连线和排序题目,帮助学生加深对词汇的理解,为后面阅读课文做准备。 Step Ⅲ While-reading Listen and read 1. T plays the recording and Ss listen to it carefully. 2. T asks Ss to read through the passage, and then read the text together. Fast reading 1. T asks Ss to read the passage quickly and try to match the headings with the paragraphs. Paragraph 1 The scientists’ progress (进程) Paragraph 23 The scientists’ questions Paragraph 4 The solar system and the universe Paragraph 5 The life on earth and other planets 2.
