When is your birthday?” II：Vocabulary 1、Check the new words that students have learned before class. 检查学生自主学习词汇效果。 2、Learn the ordinal numbers from 1 to 12. 月份引入序数词的学习（1-12）。 3、Complete the calendar to learn to talk about dates. 补全日历学习日期读写（1-30）。 III：Speaking Activity1: Game：Are you fast enough? 看谁反应快，通过比赛检查学生月份、序数词、日期掌握情况。 Activity2: Festivals and dates: E.g. When is Christmas Day? It’s on December 1st. 认识节日，通过讨论节日引出新句子及日期写法。 Activity3: Pairwork: E.g. When is your birthday? How old are you? 了解同学, 小组问答了解对方的生日和年龄，练习新句型及基数词和序数词用法。 Activity4: Pairwork: E.g. Find out your group members’ birthdays and ages. 反馈矫正，运用目标句型询问同学朋友的生日及年龄。更多了解同学的信息，增加交流。 Activity2: Write a report. 能力提升，将调查结果写成一份报告，练习写作能力，选择几位同学朗读报告，并给予评价。 VII：Homework I. Write a passage about your family’s birthdays. 了结家人的信息并写下来，促进家庭交流并进行感恩教育。 II. Study the new words in Section B学习新单词。 学情分析 Unit 8 Section A部分的教学重点是正确使用月份和序数词来谈论日期，难点是基数词与序数词的区分和名词所有格的运用。学生在Unit 7刚刚学习了基数词，而且课前已经自主学习了月份所以课堂应该能够快速掌握序数词和日期的表达。但在说的过程中容易把基数词和序数词混为一谈，大量口头操练是化解这一难点的好办法。名词所有格在前面单元零散出现过，学生使用不熟练，在本单元也需要加以归纳、强化，多形式的小组合作学习能够使学生通过互助解疑进一步熟练其用法。 效果分析 在课上，学生热情高涨, 小组活动紧张有序, 学生参与度高。通过练习对话，讨论解疑，分角色表演，采访写作和组内互评，扎扎实实地巩固所学。全部学生都能够顺利的说出自己的生日、掌握日期
