PAGE 1 PAGE 初二上册Unit1—1 What does he look like?教学设计 (Section A 1a—2d) 【教学过程】 Before the class, the teacher plays a video—this is my family, ask the students to follow the song and try to catch and write down the description words on the paper. (活动目的:活跃气氛,贴近生活,紧紧围绕本课重点做足热身。) Step 1 and 2 Preparation and presentation. Ⅰ. Warming-up 1)师生互相问候,然后点三名男生(the tallest, the second tallest, the third tallest) T: Please describe them in height.(老师可以使用选择问句进行简单的引导) Is he tall or short? A is tall, B is short, C isn’t tall or short, we can say like this –he is of medium height.(板书) Follow me. T: 用同样的方法,分别教授新词 heavy of medium build, thin; (用自己的头发更直观的去写long, short, straight, curly) (设计意图:通过free talk,以熟悉的同学们为话题,自然而然导入本课话题--人物外貌描写上,不仅激发学生兴趣,自然而然的教授了新词,更为后面新知识的学习营造说英语的环境,为接下来的学习打下基础) T: All these we talked about just now are all about describing the people’s looks. What else do you know more about it? Today let’s learn a new lesson—(出示课题幻灯片--What does he look like? learn to describe people’s looks) 2) Show the Leaching objectives: a. Be able to describe people’s looks b. Be able to use the alternative questions to ask people’s looks c. Be able to use adjectives about physical appearance (设计意图:让学生了解本课学习目标,有目的性有针对性的投入到课堂学习中,提高学习质量) Step 3:Drill guide. Ⅱ.Learn and say : 1)直接出示明星图片,老师先说What does she look like? She has short hair. She has straight hair. She has black hair. 三句合并成一句话: She has short straight black hair. short curly blonde hair; long straight brown hair (模仿老师完成后两个的口头表达,出示一张幻灯片,对描写头发做一个简单的总结,比较形象的记住多个形容词的出场顺序。) 随后再出示一张复数形式的幻灯片,注重不同人称的过渡,实现语言的灵活性。 (设计意图:将单词与图片、句子相结合,避免死记硬背,在句子中学习运用单词,掌握学生对所学单词的掌握情况,为接下来的深入学习扫除障碍,保证听力,口语训练的顺利进行) 2)单词的运用与新授句型“what does he/she look like”、“选择问句”的深层接触与学习: look and say:(结合遮掩图片,产生足够的信息差,发挥学生的想象来谈论人的外貌。先是身高,tall ,short, be of medium height.) 谈论人的体格,short, heavy, be of medium build) 谈论人的发型和体格,点出可以多方面不是单一的描述一个人。 活动游戏:①在班级里抽出一名学生,抽字条的学生问:What does the student look like?让大家使用刚学习过的语言来询问. 以上句式让学生反复接触wha
