= 1 \* ROMAN I. Teaching Objectives
A. Knowledge objectives
1. Students will be able to know the form of the Present Perfect Tense: have/has done.
2. Students will be able to master the meaning and the usage of the Present Perfect Tense.
3. Students will distinguish differences between the verb form of Past tense and Past participle.
B. Ability objectives
1. Students will be able to recognize and write some simple sentences in Present Perfect Tense.
2. Students will be able to communicate with others using Present Perfect Tense in proper situation.
C. Learning strategies
1. Students will be able to conclude the form of the Present Perfect Tense by inductive method.
= 2 \* ROMAN II. Focal Points
Students will be guided to focus on form, meaning and the use of the Present Perfect Tense. Besides, it is difficult to deal with durative and non-durative verbs in English teaching, especially when used in perfect tense,

Students may have difficulty in using the Present Perfect Tense properly in some sentences.

Step 1. Lead-in
Teacher greets the students as usual, and then asks four questions with the picture being shown on the power point. After that, the four questions will be presented in written form.
(Purpose of design: This step is to trigger the students’ schema by daily communication.)
Step 2. Presentation and Practice
Teacher will present the form of the Present Perfect Tense and teacher students to use it in sentences.
Activity 1.The four questions and their affirmative and negative answers will be presented in written form. Students will conclude the form of the tense.
(Purpose of design: This design is to guide students to drew the form.)
