Greeting and Review 提示今天要学的内容。告诉他们要读一篇关于一个坚持梦想的小男孩最终取得成功的故事。 Step2.New Concepts. Story time: A Famous Football Player 1.Prepare to read 让学生翻开书翻到第12页。让学生看故事的标题,看看有没有人能说出它的意思。看本页的其它图片,问学生这个故事是关于谁的? 本故事中有一些新单词。教师可以用图片或词汇卡片向学生们展示:bottle,coach,dig/dug,hole。学生们不必掌握这些单词,但应当理解它们。 2.Read the story a.Talk about the pictures b.Listen and repeat 播放录音,让学生们齐声跟读。 c.Ask and answer 把全班分成小组。每个小组进行练习,让几名学生为全班朗读故事中的段落。 3.After reading a.Read and talk 让学生和身旁的伙伴,讨论Read and talk中的问题。 b.Ask and answer 问下面的问题,看学生们能回忆起多少故事内容: What did the coach think about Pele How old was Pele when he won his first World Cup Why did Pele want to dig the hole for the coach’s Christmas tree Step 3 Homework Do the exercise book . 板书设计 Lesson 6: A Famous Football Player What did the coach think about Pele How old was Pele when he won his first World Cup Why did Pele want to dig the hole for the coach’s Christmas tree 第二课时 教学目标: 知识目标:1. player and team, game 2.win and lost 能力目标:1. After the students have guessed these occupations, add “doctor〞 and “police officer〞. The students mastered these words orally in Level 1, but they haven’t seen them for a long time. Whisper the translation for these occupations to the students acting them out, and help the class guess the occupations with lots of prompts and encouragement.
