As the conscience of the American drama, Arthur Miller is famous for the moral and social responsibility of his works, among which Death of A Salesman is a typical one revealing the theme of family. This paper tends to explore reasons of Willy Loman’s tragedy in the term of the family. Through the analysis on the family influence Willy’s tragedy, this essay aims at getting the lesson of family construction and family education from this work: it’s crucial to sustain a positive relationship among family members. Parents should keep communication with children and educate them with correct values.
