I am up to viewing Douyin.并训练此句型 请学生谈论与本课相关的话题,引入本课。 Step 2 Presentation (4 mins) Learn new words. 1.T plays the recording of new words and phrases in this unit and lets Ss look at them on the PPT, paying attention to their pronunciation. T: Please look at the picture on the PPT to know about the solar system. 2.T encourages Ss to say something about these words. e.g.: earth The Earth is a planet and it goes around the Sun. It is a beautiful blue and white ball when it is seen from space and it has the environment with air, so people and things can grow. PPT呈现太阳系图片,帮助学生认知生词。 学生针对生词说句子,加深对新词理解。 Step 3 Practice (17 mins) (Individual Whole class Pair work) Activity 1 1.Before listening T: Who wants to read out the words in Activity 1 to the whole class. Hands up please. T chooses some Ss to read these words and correct their pronunciation. 2.While listening T: OK. Now let’s listen and number the words as you hear them. Ss listen for the first time. Ss listen for the second time and finish Activity 1. Ss check their answers in pairs. T plays the recording again for Ss to check if their answers are correct. Activity 2 1.Before listening Ss read the sentences in Activity 2 and predict before listening.
