Introduction This Design Guide is to be used in conjunction with Equipment Heat Loss Calculation KS-PR-CAL-0006 and Pipe Heat Loss Calculation KS-PR-CAL-0007. Other heat loss tools or software may apply slight variations on the theory or calculation approach. This Process Design Guide is intended for use as a tool in the organization of Process Engineering. It is not normally issued on a project, however documents based on it, such as process calculation records or datasheets, may be issued. 2. Scope The purpose of this Design Guide is to provide guidance for evaluation of steady state heat loss from stagnant fluid. It is intended to provide the user with a best practice view, but it is the duty of the user to make all efforts to confirm the content meets (or exceeds) the global industry st
