(Section B 3a-3b) 教材分析 The topic of this micro class comes from unit 9, 2nd semester of Grade 8 in students’ book. This period mainly focuses on introduce one’s hometown or a place one have been to by using present perfect tense. 学情分析 Students have learned the present perfect tense in unit 8 and they have many language materials about different places. But, it’s still difficult for them to write an article to introduce their hometown or the places they have been to. 教学目标 At the end of this period, students will be able to 1. Remember some phrases of about introduce a place; 2. Write an article to introduce a place by using present perfect tense. 教学重难点 Key points: To help students remember some phrases and sentence patterns to introduce basic information of a place. location: be located in/lies in..; size: covers an area of...; population: has a population of...; large population weather: hot/cold/warm/dry/rainy/cloudy/neither…nor…/the same all the year round; history: has a history of…/ a place with… years; places to visit: be famous for… beautiful/wonderful/peaceful/relaxing/excellent / clean/safe place things to eat (food): delicious/special/fresh/all kinds of/different Have you ever tried/seen/been…? If you…, you will/can…. You should… One great thing about…is… To help students write an article about their hometown or a place they have been to. Difficult points: 1.To use the different sentence structure to express the same idea.
