Unit 3 A healthy diet第三课时 (Sound time, Culture time Cartoon time) 【教学目标】 1.学生能了解中国的早餐和西方的早餐之间不同饮食文化,并能用英语做简单的介绍。 2.学生能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事,能读懂其中的趣味之处,能在教师的指导下表演故事。 3.学生能掌握字母组合“ou”的发音规则。 【教学重难点】 1.学生能正确理解、朗读Cartoon time中的故事,能在教师的指导下表演故事。 2. 学生能了解中西方传统的饮食,并能用英语作简单介绍。 【教学过程】 Activity One: Culture time 1.Review the text T: Mike and Yang Ling has similar food for lunch and dinner. But they have different breakfast. What do they have for breakfast? T: What does Mike have for breakfast? S:He has...for breakfast. T:What about Yang Ling? S:She has...for breakfast. 2.Let’s think T: People from different countries have different diet. Look at the pictures, which one is about Chinese people, which one is about western people? T: Now discuss in two, What’s in the pictures? PPT: Learn the new words: Porridge, steamed buns, cereal, sausage. 3.Let’s say T: Look at the pictures, what do Chinese and Western people have for breakfast? Can you say? Work in two, Let’s have a competition. Chinese people often have ... for breakfast. Western people often have ... for breakfast. Have a competition. Activity Two Cartoon time 1. Look and guess T: There is not much food in Sam’s fridge.Where can they go? Guess! 2. Read and complete T: Now, look, Sam and his mother are in the supermarket. What do they buy? How much food do they buy? T: Why can Sam take only a small bottle ? T: Why does Sam want a big fish? 3.Read and imitate T: Please read and imitate. 4.Read and act T: Now, it’s your turn.
