39 42 42 43 42 43 31 22 22 22 23 23 24 20 The purpose of the activity is to ensure that value as defined in the Pursue Stage and marketed during the pursuit is measured and delivered to the client during the Perform Stage. Incremental value should be delivered throughout the project. Where possible, CVM should be used to establish a value scorecard. It should be used to introduce and manage the receipt of value throughout the Perform Stage of the project. Discrete statements of value should be developed based on three-six month intervals. 15 Instructor Notes: Billable hours are what you report on your Time Expense report (TE) for actual client work. It does not generally include: - Lunch - Travel time - Breaks - Time spent doing work for other clients - Recruiting activities - Etc. Instructor Notes: Module Description In this module participants transition form the Pursue stage of the MCP into the Initiate phase. Building on the team charter they created during the Pursue stage, teams will review, refine and redefine roles, objectives and operating agreements. Participants will also receive instruction on the importance of creating work papers in a standard format. Module Objectives Apply MBTI and team building training to review roles and operating agreements for transition to the initiate stage of the engagement. Update Engagement Deployment plan Set up working structures including project control and working papers. Provide a kick-off agenda Purpose of reviewing and refining engagement baselines: The process of reviewing and refining clients needs, and synopsis will: confirm the suitability of baselines established in the Pursue Stage, align the engagement with any change in client’s business priorities since the engagement acceptance, confirm the availability of a client steering committee / advisory group to ensure client consensus, confirm the strength of client sponsor
