Scope

Thistestmethoddescribestheprocedureformeasuringthemonochromediffusereflectionprintdensityandback-groundforlargeareasonprintedpagesfromelectrophoto-graphicprinters.Itdescribesthetesttargetandcalculationsforevaluatingtheprintdensityandbackground.

Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappro-priatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplica-bilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
