She was born in a pastors family in a small town in the south of Britain, being subjected to some regular educations. Jane Austen lived in a village where the influence of feudalism conservation was very strong, and she lived in a small circle, mainly getting in touch with the middle class and pastors. Therefore, she always described the love between a gentleman and a fair maiden and the life of marriage with the sharp sense and exquisite of a woman.? The early works of Jane Austen mainly criticized the lacks of the contemporary novels. There are six works in her adulthood, named Sensibility and Sense, Prejudice and Pride, Mansfield Park, Emma, Persuasion and Northanger Abbey. The representative works of Jane Austen are Prejudice and Pride and Emma; these two novels described the love and marriage. The novel reflected the rank relation, customs and habits, social psychology of that time vividly, setting off for the conservative ideas and out-of-the-way of British country-life from the end of the 18th century to the early of the 19th century.? Jane Austen reflected the daily life of the middle class in country of Britain where the capitalism Industrial revolution had not reached between the end of the 18th century and the early of the 19th century. Although the reflection of living was not wide, it turned round the vulgarization of the creation of novels at that time and formed a connecting link in the history of the development of British novel.? B. The Summary of Pride and Prejudice Austens novel Pride and Prejudice focuses on a pair of sisters who pursue prospects for marriage.
