Abstract This thesis studies the relationship between doctor and patient in the current transitional period of society. Some view points and theories of Organization Behavior provide a very good perspective to study the relationship between doctor and patient. As currently China is in a special stage of social development, the transitional period, new things, new ideas and new ways of thinking emerge one after another, which will surely collide with many of the traditional views, modes and rules. As an important part of social relationships, the relationship between doctor and patient faces the same problem. With the change of people ’s views on morals and values, and with the raising of people ’s awareness of participation, law and equality, the relationship between doctor and patient becomes more and more complicated. At the same time, medical disputes grow greatly, which has become a quite sensitive social problem. How to understand correctly the problems in the relationship between doctor and patient, and to take active and effective measures to solve the contradictions between doctor and patient and to build harmonious relationship between doctor and patient, is a problem worth our continuous study and exploration. At present, the researches on the relationship between doctor and patient are from many perspectives such as law, ethics, and consumption, while this thesis tries to find out an effective way of improving the relationship between doctor and patient in the transitional period of society by using the related theories in Organization Behavior and from a practical micro-perspective.
