Testingm ethods of shotcrete are very mi portant for its perform ance appraisem ent and quality contro.l D ifferent testing methods and testing indexes are compared and analyzed in detail in this paper, theurgency of research on standard testing method of shotcrete is also pointed out. The perform ance of shotcrete is difficult to be appraisedmerely through strength testing, there- fore, its deform ing performance should also be taken into account, which is also confirm ed by the new ly testing methods of shotcrete issued by foreign concerned organizations. After brief introduction, the panelbending test is discussed particularly to promote the developm ent of testing standards and technologies.
