Safety Community Program takes mainly reference from outreaching approach for the integrated development of safety culture in the community. Ten districts in Hong Kong have so far implemented their own “Safe Community” project since 1999 and 6 of them designated as “Safe Communities” by the WHO. There are many programmes devised under different safety community projects for fostering the safety and health performance.
