There is an intrinsic relation between leisure and faith: Leisure is the necessary condition for faith, while faith is a sort of leisure at a higher level. The practicing method, cultural connotation and traditional martial art ethics with respect to Wushu itself contain certain basis of leisure and faith. Therefore, fully exploring the leisure and faith value of Wushu should be a way to the development of Wushu renaissance in a modern society. Key words: leisure; faith ;Wushu renaissance; globalization
