During late Jia-dao Reigns, Tongcheng School of Jiangxiprovincewasstilloneofthemostimportantschools,butonlyfew scholarshavestudiedit. Onthebasisof theforms of teacher-student relation namely apprenticeship and Sishu(learningfrom someonewithout apprenticing to him in person), andjudging by whether the Yifa Theory of Tongcheng School was followed,this dissertation confirms that there were 53 Tongcheng authors inJiangxi through consulting chronicles,historical records,The Study into the Origin and Composition of Tongcheng Genre written by LIU Shengmu,the anthology of poetry and prose by Jiangxi Tongcheng authors,and etc. This dissertation also conducts research into the inheritanceandpassingdownofTongchengSchoolinJiangxiwithanaimtofacilitateindepthstudiesintoTongcheng School.
