The Research of sEMG’s Rough Parameter Range of Facial Paralysis Evaluation Speciality: acupuncture and moxibustion Author: Sun Hu Tutor:Liu Li’an Abstract Objective: This subject collectes 110 facial paralysis patients to get surface electro- myography (sEMG) evaluations in order to discuss the value of sEMG evaluation in this desease and establish a rough parameter range of facial paralysis evaluation. （ ） Methods: All 110 facial paralysis patients at the acute stage in 7 days accept two course acupuncture treatment(10 acupuncture therapy is one couse).They also accept both House-Brackmann facial nerve grading local score (H-B score)and sEMG evaluation before accepting acupuncture therapy and each end of acupuncture course.So,each patient accepts 3 H-B scores and sEMG evaluations.Then,we make a statistic of all the sEMG data of every six H-B score degree.Finally,we get a rough parameter range of sEMG evaluation. Results:By the program of statistic analysis software,the rough parameter range of sEMG evaluation is as follow: Ⅰ:0.77～1.0，Ⅱ:0.61～0.76，Ⅲ:0.45～0.60，Ⅳ:0.31～ 0.44，Ⅴ:0.17～0.30, Ⅵ: 0～0.16.
