Clinical Research of Minimally Invasive Treatment of Unstable Femoral Intertrochanteric Fractures on Elderly by Closed Reduction With PFNA Speciality: Orthopedics and Traumatology of TCM Author: Yang jing Tutor: Xiao yi Associate Chief Physician Abstract Objective: In this study, we treated the elderly patients with unstable femoral intertrochanteric fractures by Antirotation of Proximal Femoral Nail with manipulative reduction, and analyzed the clinical results to provide a reference for future clinical treatment and research. Methods: This study selected 22 intertrochanteric fracture inpatients from the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine who were treated by PFNA .Cases aged 66-90 years old, with an average of 73 years, including 9 males and 13 females. According to Evans-Jensen type, all included are unstable fracture. To make a comprehensive analysis of the age of the patients, operative time, blood loss, wound drainage, load time, fracture healing time, hospitalization time, postoperative complications, to evaluate the patients ’ hip function after the operation and data were analyzed statistically. Results: The full group of subjects, all 22 cases were followed up for 8-12 months. According the follow-up date ,thre was no phenomenon such as incision non-healing or infection, deep venous thrombosis, fracture nonunion, coxa vara and internal fixation loosening rupture and spiral blade cutting out in all cases.
