教学内容： Unit 3 Why do you like koalas? 授课教师：关华 教学目标： 1. 知识与能力 Section A的主要是通过学习动物名称和常见的有关描述动物的形容词，学会表达个人对动物的喜好并陈述原因。 2. 过程与方法 采用Discussing和Concluding的学习策略，利用教学图片、幻灯片或制作课件(精彩的MTV片段)等来展开课堂教学、Pairwork问答的口语交际活动和小组活动，进行“询问和谈论喜好”的课堂教学和练习。 3. 情感态度价值观 学生通过谈论动物的各种特点,让学生学会观察、关爱野生动物并珍爱大自然。 （三）、教学重难点： 1. 重点 通过“介绍动物”， 学会表达个人对动物的喜好并陈述原因。 2. 语法难点 如何表达一类动物，如：a koala, koalas, the koala. （四）、教学步骤： Teaching Procedures Teachers’ Activity Students’ Activity Step 1 Lead-in 1. Introduce the topic of animals by playing an MTV of “The Lion King”. 2. Ask Ss what animals they can see in the video 3. Ask Ss what other animals they know Ss watch the video clips and answer the question. Ss brain-storm the names of other animals. Step 2 Presentation -words Where can we see many animals? 1. Lead to the topic of zoo, animals and the description words Present words of animals. What is it? What are they? Do you like…? Why do you like…? 2. Can you tell their names? Show pictures and ask Ss to say the names of animals. Ss look at the pictures and answer the questions. Step 3 Guessing-game Play the sound clips and ask Ss to guess what animals they are Ss listen to the sound clips and answer questions. Step 4 Pair-work Now let’s have a conversation. 1. Ask one student to set an example for the whole class. A: What’s that in picture A? B: It’s an elephant. A: Do you like elephants? B: Yes, I do./No, I don’t. A: Why do/don’t you like elephants?
