Methods rabbit model of Yin and Heat Syndrome rat fever model of yeast suspension, Artemisia A Xure granule observed antipyretic effect and measured by radioimmunoassay in cAMP content in the hypothalamus. Results Artemisia A Xure granule deficiency Heat Syndrome rabbit model and rat fever model of the yeast suspension of animal body temperature can significantly inhibit , and can inhibit the cAMP content in the hypothalamus increased. Conclusions and Hot granule Artemisia A significant antipyretic effect, which may reduce its hypothalamic cAMP generation and release. Methods Rabbit model of extreme heat due to deficiency of yin and rat fever model induced by subcutaneous injection of beer yeast suspension were used, the antipyretic of Haojia Xureqing granules was observed, and variations of cAMP level in hypothalamus was determined with radioimmunoassay.Results Intragastric administration with Haojia Xureqing granules showed obvious inhibitive effects on temperature elevation in the rabbit model of extreme heat due to deficiency of yin and rat fever model induced by subcutaneous injection of beer yeast suspension, and inhibited the increasing of cAMP level in hypothalamus.Conclusion Haojia Xureqing granules had significant antipyretic effects , and the mechanism might be related to the generation and release of cAMP in hypothalamus.
