Methods: The thoracolumbar vertebrae fracture was fixed with pedicle screws in 50 patients, with the bone reduced by posterior limited decompression, and then the bone autograft granule was implanted into the reduced vertebral body through pediculus arcus vertebrae. Results: Recovery of the height and physiologic radian of vertebral body was satisfactory after the surgery, with no aggravation in clinical nerve symptoms, and follow-up examination showed that there were no loss in the height and physiologic radian of vertebral body, no loosing in fixation and no repeated fracture in vertebrae. Conclusion: Surgical Treatment of thoracolumbar fracture with pedicle screw AF is safe, effective, less expensive and worth wide application in clinics.
