Abstract: Objective: To evaluate the amoxicillin / sulbactam clinical efficacy of bacterial infections. : 56 patients, 30 cases were divided into treatment group and control group 26 cases, respectively, amoxicillin / sulbactam and ampicillin / sulbactam, doses were 3? 0g, q8h, intravenous administration, course of treatment ( 8 ± 2) d. Results: Amoxicillin / sulbactam and ampicillin / sulbactam clinical effective rate was 93% and 73%; bacterial elimination rates were 92% and 83%; two sets of adverse reaction rates were 6% and 11% of trials no serious adverse events. Conclusion: Amoxicillin / sulbactam for the treatment of bacterial infections can be effective and safe antibiotics

ABSTRACT: AIM: To evaluate the efficacy of amoxicillin / sulbactam in the treatment of bacterial infections? METHODS: Fifty-six patients were divided into two groups: amoxicillin / sulbactam group (30 patients) and ampicillin / sulbactam group (26 patients)? Test and control groups received amoxicillin / sulbactam and ampicillin / sulbactam 3g, iv, q8h for (8 ± 2) d, respectively? RESULTS: The overall effective rates of amoxicillin / sulbactam and ampicillin / sulbactam were 93% and 73%, the bacterial clearance rates were 92% and 83% and the ADRs were 6% and 11%, respectively? CONCLUSION: Amoxicillin / sulbactam is a safe and potent antibacterial agent in the treatment of the bacterial infections?
