Method in our hospital in 2002 in Yangcheng County, Shanxi Province, and Xiangyuan County, “China’s Shanxi Province cervical cancer screening method of research” project, 9034 women were carried out liquid-based cytology, HR  HPV DNA detection and 5% acetic acid staining naked eye. Cytological diagnosis of where we are right ASC, accompanied by HR  HPV DNA test positive or 5% acetic acid staining visual observation of cases had abnormal colposcopy and biopsy to compare HR  HPV DNA positive ASC group and the HR  HPV DNA-negative  5% acetic acid staining positive ASC group, visual observation of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, CIN) the incidence, and thus evaluation of HR  HPV DNA testing as the ASC re-classification method is feasible. The results of 548 cases during colposcopy ASC in, HR  HPV DNA-positive have 333 cases (60.8%), HR  HPV DNA-negative  positive 215 cases of visual observation (39.2%). These two sets of ASC in the incidence of CIN were 22.5% and 5.1% (P lt;0.05); CIN2 / 3 the incidence rates were 7.8% and 0.9% (P lt;0.05). Conclusion HR  HPV DNA testing is an effective way to ASC re-classification.
