HPLC determination of sodium bicarbonate tablets of rhubarb and rhubarb phenol content of emodin
[Abstract] [aim] Rhubarb by high performance liquid chromatography and sodium bicarbonate tablets Chrysophanol emodin content. [Method] HPLC; column was Shim pack clc ODS (150 6.0mm, 5.0um, mobile phase of methanol 0.1% phosphoric acid (85:15, flow rate 1.0ml/min, detection wavelength 254nm. [Results] The linear relationship was good. emodin and chrysophanol average recoveries were 98.5% , 99.3%, RSD = 1.3%, 0.4% (n = 9. [Conclusion] The method is simple, accurate, and reproducibility, and can be used for quality control of rhubarb sodium bicarbonate tablets.

[Methods] An HPLC method was applied; Chromatographic column was Shim pack clc ODS (150 6.0mm, 5.0um; The mobile phase was methanol 0.1% phosphoric acid (85:15; Velocity of flow was 1.0ml/min; The detaction wavelength was 254nm. [Resulet] The linearty of this method was well.Emodin and chrysophanol average recovery rates were 98.5%, 99.3% ; RSD = 2.75%, 2.83% (n = 9. [Conclusion] This method is simple, accurate with strong reproducibility, and can be used for the quality control of rhubarb sodium bicarbonate tablets.
