Methods 138 patients were randomly divided into the HBO group and the control group, 73 patients with 65 patients in the control group with conventional therapy, HBO group on the basis of conventional therapy plus HBO therapy. Results Compared with the control group, HBO group was significantly improved efficiency (P lt;0.01). Conclusion HBO combined treatment group of idiopathic facial paralysis in children obviously effective treatment that meets the symptoms in children as early as possible combined treatment with HBO. In our hospital from January 2007 -2009 in December, of which 73 cases idiopathic facial paralysis in children in the clinical routine treatment with HBO therapy, and select 65 cases of the disease substantially similar in children with idiopathic facial paralysis as a control group with conventional therapy. The results show that, HBO comprehensive treatment of idiopathic facial nerve paralysis in children with obvious effect. now report the following clinical observation. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 Clinical data HBO group 73 cases, 38 males and 35 female; age of 1.3 to 9.8 years, mean (4.8 + -0.8) years; onset time of 2 to 18 days, the average (6.5 + - 1.8) days. The control group 65 patients, 32 males and 33 females; aged 1.5 to 10.3 years, mean (4.3 + -1.1) years; onset time of 1 to 15 days, the average (6.3 + -2.1) days.
