[Method] in January 2000 ~ August 2004 period, a total treatment of 8 cases, 3 males and 5 females. Patients in both the femur or the curved line of multi-segment osteotomy of the tibia after intramedullary nailing. One 20 mm Kirschner wire placed in 2 cases, Ender nails in 3 cases, Nancy flexible intramedullary nails in 3 cases. [Results] improved significantly after eight cases of deformity were followed up for 9 months ~ 5 a, an average of 24 a, no further follow-up limb bone fracture, no nail infection, nonunion complications. 1 case after preoperative Wheelchair children can walk with crutches; 1 case of bone, part of the fracture with Kirschner wire. [Conclusion] After the built-in multi-segment osteotomy nail treatment of children with osteogenesis imperfecta, for correction of limb deformities, reducing the opportunity to re-fracture, the effect solid and corroborating.
