Methods A convenience sampling method by the hospitals of some 117 nurses, the use of Work Values Inventory, nurses measure of job satisfaction table, turnover intention scale investigation. The results overall job satisfaction of nurses at a medium level, nurses most valued type of emotional values, and turnover intention were divided into (2.71 + -0.81) points; marriage, titles, scheduling and working conditions, personal and professional development, instrumental values, the stability of the nursing career was statistically significant (P lt;0.05 or P lt;0.01). Conclusion The nurse encouraged the pursuit of high-level needs and satisfaction are important measures to stabilize care team . Tip nurse managers should pay attention to work values of nurses and improve the job satisfaction of nurses in order to avoid the generation of turnover intention. [Keywords:] nurse; work values; Job Satisfaction; turnover intention; job stability [Abstract] Objective To study the relationship between nurses’ work values and job satisfaction and their influence to occupational stability.Methods 117 registered nurses of one hospital in Harbin was randomly selected.Used job satisfaction questionnaires, work values questionnaires and scales of turnover intention to find what is the situation.Results The level of the overall job satisfaction among nurses was in a moderate level.They paied more attention on affective work values.The mean score of turnover intention was 2.71 +-0.81.There was a statistical significant difference ( P lt;0.05 or P lt;0.01) between occupational stability with nurse’s marital status, titles, scheduling and work conditions, professional opportunities, material work values
