Psychological intervention on the impact of postpartum depression
[Abstract] Objective psychological intervention on postpartum depression symptoms. Methods 60 cases with symptoms of maternal depression were randomly divided into experimental and control group 30 patients. Both groups were given routine care, psychological intervention combined the experimental group were Psychological intervention in the post-admission and Symptom Checklist for evaluation of the two groups of mothers. Results SCL scores than the experimental group psychological intervention significantly decreased the time of admission (t = 2.00, P lt;0.05, control group no significant change (t = 1.27, Pgt; 0.05, the experimental group after the psychological intervention was significantly decreased compared with the control group (t = 2.86, P lt;0.01. Conclusion Psychological intervention can significantly improve maternal depressive symptoms.

Postpartum depression is a non-psychotic depression syndrome characterized by irritability, terror, anxiety, depression and worry excessively about their own and child health. Often lose their self-care ability and the ability to care for the baby, and sometimes fall into confusion and lethargy state [1]. To explore the psychological intervention associated with the impact of maternal depression, the authors conducted a controlled study, reported as follows.
1 Subjects and methods
1.1 The object selected in January 2005 ~ October 2007 in our hospital’s maternity for the study. Inclusion criteria: (1) are full-term mothers. (2) conscious, cooperation, no serious heart, liver, kidney history of disease and mental illness. (3) are associated with varying degrees of postpartum depression, excessive anxiety, tension and other symptoms. (4 exclude no written or visual, hearing, language dysfunction.
