Wedd.Methods The powder microstructure of Memorialis hirta (Bl.) Wedd was researched, and thin layer chromatography (TLC) was established taking standard medicines as control.The content of moisture and ash residue was measured by the related method in pharmacopoeia, and the content of water soluble extractive and 50% ethanol soluble extractive from Memorialis hirta (Bl.) Wedd was also detected.Results Micro identification method of the drug powder and TLC identification method of the crude drug were established, and the content of both extracts from Memorialis hirta (Bl.) Wedd was determined.Conclusion This research lays the experimental basis for improving quality control methods of Memorialis hirta (Bl.) Wedd and establishing the national standards.
