On the task-based English teaching in junior high school English teaching
English Abstract
Task-based teaching is the study of foreign language teaching a hot spot. This paper describes the task-based teaching basic definition, characteristics, and teaching the steps, and through reference to sum up many English education practitioners on the task-based teaching in junior high school teaching of English listening and speaking practice, put forward their views. Task-based teaching, teaching the steps can be divided into pre-mission, tasks, task three parts. Task-based teaching is through the design of the overall multi-level task, the task of creating a colorful execution environment, and guide students through the completion of the task to learn and master the language. Task-based teaching compared with traditional modes of teaching, focusing on the meaning of language content, student activities around the tasks at different stages of start conducive to enhancing the students a sense of achievement and so on. Their teaching with clear objectives designed to provide students with a large number of moving mouth, hands, brains opportunities. Task-based teaching on the teacher made higher demands, requiring teachers to change their conception of education, changing the role of teaching, have the ability to develop curriculum resources and cooperation and research, with the awareness and ability for lifelong learning.
