Taiwan China and the United States and Japan post-disaster reconstruction of Enlightenment School
[Abstract] Wenchuan earthquake disaster area caused by the devastating destruction of the education system in the disaster areas rebuild schools face unprecedented difficulties and challenges. How to co-ordinate a variety of social assistance and integration of forces in the disaster areas based on the optimization and upgrading of school education is the reconstruction of schools affected areas must be resolved issues. Taiwan, China and the United States and Japan, post-disaster reconstruction of schools provided us with valuable experience in the ideological inspiration: integration of modern educational concepts to enhance the content and levels of school reconstruction; give full play to government functions, improve the efficiency of school reconstruction; open up a variety of channels of financing, to allow limited intervention of the market; innovation mechanism to co-ordinate a variety of social forces.

Wenchuan earthquake disaster area schools and educational facilities were severely damaged, the conventional teaching order was completely disrupted, the majority of teachers and students experienced tremendous psychological trauma, education, eco-system as a whole paralyzed, school reconstruction facing unprecedented difficulties and challenge. This paper from China’s Taiwan and the United States and Japan, post-disaster reconstruction of mining schools, serve as a reference value and the significance of the ideological resources.
