Thispaperproposes anoveltechnique todetermine theTTCandits con?denceintervalsinthesystembyconsideringtheuncertainties intheloadandlineparameters. The optimal power ?ow OPF method is used to obtain the TTC. Variations in the load and lineparameters areincorporated using theinterval arithmetic IAmethod. TheIEEE30bustest system isusedtoillustrate theproposed methodology.Variousuncertainties intheline,loadand bothlineandloadareincorporated intheevaluation oftotaltransfer capability.Fromtheresults, it is observed that the solutions obtained through the proposed method provide much wider information interms ofclosed interval form which ismoreuseful inensuring secured operation oftheinterconnected systeminthepresenceofuncertainties inloadandlineparameters.
