Fibromyalgiaisachronicsyndromecharacterizedbygeneralizedpain,jointrigidity,intensefatigue,sleepalterations,headache, spasticcolon,craniomandibulardysfunction,anxiety,anddepression.Thepurposeofthepresentstudywastodeterminewhether massage-myofascialreleasetherapycanimprovepain,anxiety,qualityofsleep,depression,andqualityoflifeinpatientswith ?bromyalgia.Arandomizedcontrolledclinicaltrialwasperformed.Seventy-four?bromyalgiapatientswererandomlyassigned to experimental (massage-myofascial release therapy) and placebo (sham treatment with disconnected magnotherapy device) groups.Theinterventionperiodwas20weeks.Pain,anxiety,qualityofsleep,depression,andqualityoflifeweredeterminedat baseline,afterthelasttreatmentsession,andat1monthand6months.Immediatelyaftertreatmentandat1month,anxietylevels, qualityofsleep,pain,andqualityoflifewe
