Thedeltafunctionhasplayedanenormousroleinthedevel- opmentandadvancementofquantummechanicssinceits introductionbyDirac[1].Fromitsearlyuseinthemomen- tumrepresentationinscatteringtheory,ithasfoundmany conceptual applications.
