The acquired thermal scans are processed through new contrast computation named “self-referencing”, to investigatethejointtensilestrengthandfurthermapitsadhesioninterfaceinreal-time.Theproposedsystem(hardware,software combination)performanceisassessedthroughanultrasoundC-scanvalidationandfurtherbenchmarkedusingastandardpulse phasethermography(PPT)routine.
