Methods:Thisconsensusdevelopmentconferencestatementwasdevelopedasaresultofajointinternational meetingheldinJuly2010.Theconsensuscommitteewasinternationalinscope(UnitedKingdom,mainland Europe,UnitedArabEmirates)andconsistedofindividualsfromabroadrangeofbackgrounds(Psychiatry, OccupationalMedicine,HealthEconomists,DisabilityAdvisors).Theobjectivesoftheconferenceweretodiscuss someoftheoccupationalimpairmentsadultswithADHDmayfaceandhowtoaddresstheseproblemsfroman inclusiveperspective.Furthermoretheconferencelookedatinfluencingpolicyanddecisionmakingatapolitical leveltoaddressimpairedoccupationalfunctioninginadultswithADHDandfearsaroundemployingpeoplewith disabilitiesingeneral. Results:TheconsensuswasthattherewereclearweaknessesinthecurrentarrangementsintheUKand internationallytoaddressoccupationaldifficulties.Moreso,OccupationalHealthwasnotwhollyintegratedand usedasameansofmakingpositivechangestotheworkplace,butratherasasuperfluouslastresortthat employerstriedtoavoid.Furthermorethelackofcrossprofessionalcollaborationonoccupationalfunctioningin adultswithADHDwasasignificantproblem. Conclusions:Futureresearchneedstoconcentrateonfurtherinvestigatingoccupationalfunctioninginadultswith ADHDandpilotexploratoryinitiativesandtools,leadingtoabetterandmoreinformedunderstandingofpossible barrierstoemploymentandpotentialschemestoputinplacetoaddresstheseproblems. Background Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is used[3].Mostestimatesliebetwe
