Higher levels of structural adjustment on China’s Thoughts
[Abstract] the hierarchy of higher education must adapt to the economic and social development and the need for diversification of the educated. With the changes in socio-economic structures and the popularization of higher education to further adjust and optimize the hierarchical structure of higher education is necessary. Actively develop the specialist level of higher vocational education, and strive to improve the quality of education at undergraduate level, graduate education at moderate pace of development, is the current restructuring of China’s higher education level, facing the main task.

of China’s Higher Education

Abstract: The level-structure of higher education must be adapted to the need of
the development of economic society and university students’ diversity.
It is very necessary to regulate and optimize the level-structure of China’s higher education. With the changes of social economic structure and the massification of higher education, the following are the main missions for the level-structure regulation of China’s higher education: To develop positively higher vocational education, to improve actively the educational quality of undergraduate education and to control moderately the pace of postgraduate education.
