Abstract: In this paper, Crites’s Career Maturity theory, examined the non-final year college students in different grades of career decision-making self-efficacy. The results show that the non-graduate students in the career development determined the direction of the majority of which more than half of confidence in the future, but such confidence to a certain blindness. Different grades of students making a career of self-efficacy were not significantly different. “Is not to determine the direction of career development, so confused,” the students in career self-efficacy in all aspects of the decision-making were significantly lower than other decision-making status of students.
In recent years, the employment of college students has received an unprecedented attention and the attention from the mere expansion of the employment rate of students throughout their professional career development. In order to meet the needs of students, all students-oriented career development counseling has become the employment of a new important task. Understand the students the level of professional psychological development is targeted to carry out this work basis.
Career counseling for students in this area, Crites Career Maturity theory put forward is one of the most representative one. Career Maturity to adapt with career choices and career in two areas, for in-school students, their professional standards to measure the maturity of the main career choice.
