教学过程:(C级)动词不定式 to + V 一般用来表示目的或结果,或者某个具体的动作(已讲)。
V-ing 一般用来表示动作的主动概念和进行意义V-ed 一般用来表示动作的被动概念和完成意义。Eg. 1. The fallen leaves on the road were cleaned away by the students in the early morning.
2.The majority of the people invited to the party were my parents’ close friends.
3.There was nothing interesting at the party.
4.我们到达的时候,每人被发给了一份印制好的试卷。When we arrived, we each were given a __________(print) question paper.提 示如要表示强调,单个动词-ed形式也可作后置定语。Money spent is more than money earned.入不敷出。boiled water?开水boiling water?正沸腾的水
developed countries?发达国家developing countries?发展中国家
Eg.
1.Seen from the tower, the city looks beautiful.从塔上往下看,城市显得很美丽。
reading a novel written by Dickens.
3. Not having heard from his son for a long time, Mr. White worried a lot.
有时为了强调, 分词前可带有连词, when, while, if, though, as if, unless 等一起作状语,以便使句子的意思更清楚, 连贯.
如上面三句可依次写成:
When the city is seen from the tower, the city …
While I was waiting for the bus, I ….
Because Mr. White hadn’t heard from his son for a long time, Mr……
提 示Eg.
Failing the test again, the boy couldn’t helping crying.( fail 与主句的主语the boy构成主动关系)
Given more time, he’ll make a first-class tennis player.( give与与主句的主语he构成被动关系)
(2).分词作状语时, 其主语通常应该是句子的主语, 但有时分词也可以有自己的主语,这种结构叫独立主格结构.
Eg. The project finished, we will have a two weeks’ holiday.
如果天气允许的话, 我们将按计划举行运动会.
Weather permitting, we will hold the sports meeting as planned.
